Transition to Seesaw Starter: As communicated to elementary staff on April 22nd, the district’s Seesaw for Schools subscription will not be renewed for the 2025-2026 school year. Teachers and students will lose access to our subscription and previous classes on June 30th and all teacher accounts will be migrated to the Seesaw Starter plan, July 1st.

Google Classroom: CLICK HERE for EOY best practice tips such as returning student work, unenrolling students, archiving classes, organizing folders, etc.

As communicated in April, secondary students (grades 6–12) will no longer have access to Google Classroom beginning the 2025–2026 school year. Staff will retain access to Google Classroom for professional purposes, such as reviewing existing course resources or joining courses outside of NISD.

To be in compliance with the new rule on accessibility of web content, the NISD Canvas Home Page has been reconstructed to remove tables which are not readable through screen readers making them inaccessible.

Your new fall courses will automatically have this new Home Page. Want to make early edits? Snag this Module from Canvas Commons (click Import/Download) which has the new Home Page and the Canva Design Template.
